Manchester United made it through to the Carling Cup Final but the game wasn't without some nervy moments.
The current Premier League leaders went in to the game a goal down to Derby County but they were soon back on level terms when Nani broke the deadlock of 16 minutes.
John O'Shea fired United ahead six minutes later before Carlos Tevez made it 3-1 on 34 minutes.
Robbie Savage came on at the break before Giles Barnes replaced the hero from the first leg Kris Commons on 66 minutes and the duo certainly made a difference, Barnes scoring twice late on to set up a nervy finale.
His first came from the penalty spot when Paul Green was felled in the area by Jonny Evans. Barnes made no mistake to make it 3-2 with 10 minutes to go.
The joy was short-lived though as Cristiano Ronaldo also converted from the spot after Tevez was fouled by Roy Carroll.
Manchester United may have secured their place in the Final on March 1st but there was still time for Giles Barnes to score again, beating Ben Foster with a free-kick from 25-yards out.
So Manchester United will be in one dressing room, but who will be in the other as Burnley look to overcome a 4-1 deficit against Tottenham Hotspur.
