The following Carling Cup Round 1 fixtures have been postponed on Police instruction.

The League has confirmed with the clubs affected that their Round 1 ties will now be played on the Round 2 date (23/24 August). Round 2 ties involving the winners of these deferred Round 1 ties will then be played either week commencing 29 August (depending on International calls) or 13/14 September if required so that the competition remains on course for Round 3 which takes place week commencing 19th September.
