Sheffield United defender Kyle Naughton says he is living the dream at his local club.
The homegrown Blades right-back has received the Championship Powerade Player of the Month Award for April after his impressive performances helped United into the Play-Offs.
Naughton, 20, who has made 40 League appearances this season and has been at the club since he was eight, admits he loves playing for the team he supported as a child.
He said: "My old house was 10 minutes away from the ground and I can always remember listening to the fans when I couldn't get down to watch, so it is an unbelievable feeling to be playing for Sheffield United now.
"There are some good players coming through and hopefully they can follow me and Kyle Walker into the first team."
Naughton is concentrating on United's Play-Off semi-final tie against Preston North End rather than taking all the personal glory.
He said: "I've had a fantastic season, getting selected in the PFA's Championship Team of the Year and playing for England Under-21s, but from a team's point of view we still have work to do and we are focused on that.
"We have managed to grind out a lot of results during the season and the confidence is certainly there going into the Preston games."
