Former Burnley and Sheffield United players Andy Payton and Brian Deane are supporting a travel initiative set up by Official Football League Partner Chevron, owner of the Texaco brand. Both players have a long history with their respective clubs, Payton playing for Burnley 156 times scoring 68 goals, and Deane spent three separate spells at Sheffield United where he played 224 game finding the back of the net 94 times.
Payton and Deane will accompany 20 lucky fans and their guests on two specially commissioned coaches down to London for the Coca-Cola Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley. The guests will be able to get the former players' expert insight on the game and also take part in a football quiz to win money can't buy prizes. The coach travel initiative is a continuation of the Texaco brand's commitment to travelling Championship fans and their road to the Play-Off's. In addition to the coach travel, Texaco have also given both sets of fans the opportunity to win £25 fuel vouchers to help fuel their journey to London.
