Roberto Di Matteo has been named as West Bromwich Albion's Head Coach, following the departure of Tony Mowbray who took over at Celtic last month.

The 39-year-old leaves Milton Keynes' Dons after just one season in charge to sign a one-year rolling contract at the Hawthorns.

Di Matteo will be joined by his assistant at the stadiummk Eddie Newton and Fitness Coach Ade Mafe and the trio will take charge of pre season this morning.
