Ipswich Town's first-team stars have given their backing to the club's Community Trust and helped with the re-launch of football coaching courses.

Defender Gareth McAuley and midfielder David Norris visited Portman Road during the school half-term break to offer advice to youngsters on the new ITFC SCORE programme.

The courses will run throughout Suffolk, and are open to boys and girls aged between four and 12 years.

McAuley said: "We had a lot of fun taking part in the activities that were going on.

"We got to chat with the youngsters and join in with drills and mini games, and we're able to pass on a few tips where we could."

Specialist pan-disability and goalkeeping courses have also been unveiled, and will be on offer to children throughout the year.
