Newcastle United have been crowned Coca-Cola Championship Champions following their 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park.

The Magpies needed just a point to secure the title and they did it in style thanks to goals from Andy Carroll and Wayne Routledge.

The win was their 29th of the season and 11th away from home and they now sit on 98 points with six more to play for.

Even if they do with their remaining two matches they cannot overtake Reading, who currently hold the record for the most points won in a season, with 106.
