It's been quite a year for Ipswich Town youngster Connor Wickham, who at just 17-years-old is fast becoming one of the hottest properties around.

He made his first team debut, in April 2009, aged just 16 years and 11 days, making him the Club's youngest ever player and has gone on to make 31 appearances scoring 6 goals, which earned him the Coca-Cola Football League Young Player of the Month for April.

The Colchester-born striker has also represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level where he has been positively prolific. After scoring a hat-trick in just 21 minutes in a 4-0 UEFA Under-17 Championship win against Azerbaijan in Baku last month, he's followed that up by firing the side into the UEFA European U17 Championship Final.

Wickham scored both goals in the 2-1 semi-final win over France in Liechtenstein to set up a Final with either Spain or Turkey on Sunday.

John Peacock's side are in search of their first silverware since 1993.
