Watford have announced that Graham Taylor OBE will continue as the club's Chairman on a permanent basis.
The former England Manager took up the role in December 2009 so the club's last AGM could be successfully staged and he has now agreed to take the reigns on a permanent basis.
Taylor told www.watfordfc.com: "I was then [after the AGM] asked if I would stay until the end of the season, which I agreed to do. I didn't expect to become Chairman of Watford Football Club.
"But, having said that, the club has faced and continues to face challenging times.
"So I would like to see if I can play my part in the continuing work to re-establish stability at Watford. I'm a Non-Executive Chairman, not a full-time Chairman, and I've talked before about my other commitments.
"I'm not coming back to run Watford Football Club. I have great confidence in the executive staff and they have my full support."
