This weekend sees two matches from the npower Championship starting with another Yorkshire derby, on Friday, as Doncaster Rovers host Leeds United.

United will be looking for a massive improvement following the result of their last derby match, which came in midweek, as they were beaten 5-2 by Barnsley.

Rovers on the other hand go into the match with two wins and a draw from their last three and currently sit fourth in the Championship table, following Tuesday's 3-1 win over Norwich City.

Leeds dropped down to ninth following the defeat at Oakwell but sit only one point behind Friday's opponents on 10.

The last time the two sides met was at Wembley in the League 1 Play-Off final back in 2008, when James Hayter's goal was enough to earn promotion for Sean O'Driscoll's side.

Saturday sees Nottingham Forest make the trip to Hull City for the evening kick-off, with Forest fresh from securing their first win of the season at Preston North End on Tuesday.

Prior to the trip to Deepdale Billy Davies' side had drawn their previous four matches 1-1 but they came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to two goals from Lewis McGugan.

Hull also won in midweek, their first in five in all competitions, as they beat Derby County 2-0 thanks to goals from Daniel Ayala and Robert Koren.

The sides currently sit joint 15th in the table, with seven points from their first six matches but by the time they kick-off at 5.20pm they could find themselves sitting just outside the bottom three.

The match will be the first meeting between the two sides since 1977, when the sides were in the old Division 2. Forest won the match 2-0 on their way to winning promotion to the top flight and just 12 months later they were crowned Champions!
