Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson compared Paul Gallagher to David Beckham after the Foxes winger set up all three goals in the 3-0 victory at Scunthorpe.
It was a vital three points for Eriksson's men in the race for the npower Championship play-offs, while defeat kept the home side four points from safety at the bottom.
Eriksson said: "Gallagher's right foot is special, he is not far from Beckham in terms of his delivery of set-pieces."
He added: "Last Tuesday we lost (to Norwich) in a bad way. We have talked a lot about it since and we were very concentrated and showed aggression, we have come back in a brilliant way.
"With nine games to go, if we can show the spirit we showed, we won't lose many games and we'll win a lot."
Scunthorpe had revitalised their survival hopes with three wins out of their last four home games and manager Ian Baraclough was disappointed with the manner in which they conceded the goals.
He said: "We fell asleep at set-pieces and we've allowed them to get the first and second headers.
"You can't afford that when you're fighting relegation. When you get given jobs to do, you should be able to see them out."
