Doncaster Rovers are calling on their 12th man to come out in force this Friday, when they throw the gates of the Keepmoat Stadium open and offer free admission for everyone.

Rovers host the team directly below them in the npower Championship, Crystal Palace, as they look to drag themselves further clear of the relegation zone.

Chairman John Ryan is calling on the people of Doncaster to show their support as he told www.doncasterrovers.co.uk: "It is essential that everybody within Doncaster gets behind our team.

"With us giving tickets away for free, cost is not an issue and there is no excuse for not being here - so please come down to the Keepmoat Stadium and help us ensure that we are playing Championship football next year.

"I will be there on Friday afternoon in the Polypipe Stand myself - beating the drum and helping to brew up an electric atmosphere."

A win for Doncaster could move them eight points clear of the bottom three, depending on how Scunthorpe United get on at Coventry, while three points for Palace could see them six points clear.

Fans must get a ticket for the game in advance and they are available on a first come-first served basis.

Tickets will be restricted to two per-supporter, although tickets are also available for families.
