West Ham United have been relegated from the Premier League after losing 3-2 to Wigan Athletic on Sunday.
The Hammers raced into a 2-0 lead after 26 minutes at the DW Stadium but the Latics fought back in the second half and won the game with a stoppage time goal from Charles N'Zogbia.
They return to the Championship after six years in the Premier League, a division they joined after winning the 2004/05 Play-Offs by beating Preston North End. The Hammers will start next season with a new man at the helm after it was announced that Manager Avram Grant had parted company with the club shortly after the final whistle.
First-team Coach Kevin Keen will now take charge for their final match of the season against Sunderland next Saturday.
