We have spent the last couple of weeks catching up with Managers around the country to get their views on three topics ahead of the new season; their expectations, their predictions for their division's dark horses and the names of any players to keep an eye on.
A selection of npower Championship bosses gives us their tips of who to watch in response to our third and final pre-season question:
Sam Allardyce (West Ham United)
"I just want my own players to make their mark, that is the most important thing for me. Kevin Nolan will hopefully do for us what he did for Newcastle which was 17 very important goals in a Championship winning season."
Sean Dyche (Watford)
"There are so many it is hard to pinpoint one. So many players had good spells for so many teams. We had one ourselves in Danny [Graham] who had a couple of quiet spells but was productive for most of the season. It is up for grabs for anyone to take hold of the division. There are plenty of god player out there and we feel we have some ourselves. We are hoping it is our players who go forward and make their name, so we will see."
Sven Goran Eriksson (Leicester City)
"There are a lot of good footballers. I don't know if Shane Long will stay in this league or play in the Premier League but I expect he will do, there are a lot of good players and it is a very, very tough league."
Simon Grayson (Leeds United)
"You have the experienced ones who have been there and done it before but I guess the exciting one is Chamberlain at Southampton. There is talk about him going to the Premier League but if he stays in the npower Championship then he is going to be an exciting talent and one to watch out for."
Keith Hill (Barnsley)
"It would be great to see how Will Buckley goes on down at Brighton. Having had experience coaching and managing him, I often look at his career. I thought it went well for him at Watford and it will be interesting to see how he does down at Brighton."
Keith Millen (Bristol City)
"Our sights are on promotion. It is important that we get off to a better start than we did last year and be more consistent. If you can do that and come January you are up there then the way the league is you tend to stay up there."
Malky Mackay (Cardiff City)
"I think Jay Rodriguez at Burnley is a fantastic talent and somebody that is going to do very well this year."
Andy Thorne (Coventry City)
"Loads of them but I can't afford any of them! It is a great chance for everybody, a new start and there are a lot of good players in the npower Championshio. Hopefully they don't do very well against us, but we have a few good ones ourselves."
