Sheffield Wednesday look likely to miss out on loan target Jeffrey Schlupp.
Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has stated that Schlupp is unlikely to be put out on loan during the current transfer window. The Owls, managed by former Foxes boss Gary Megson, had expressed an interest in the 18-year-old striker.
Eriksson said to the Sheffield Star: "I can understand [Wednesday's interest] but I think we should take our time on that decision and give him some more time with us."
He added: "No doubts, he has a great future, so I am not sure we should let him go out on loan now.
"We can wait a little bit.
"He is learning a lot from being with the first team squad, absolutely."
