Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.

After their 7-1 mauling of nine man Ipswich Town it was perhaps no surprise to see Peterborough United duo Lee Tomlin and Grant McCann selected in the npower Championship Team of the Week.

Former Rushden & Diamonds striker Tomlin grabbed a hat-trick and McCann weighed in with a brace as Posh came from a goal down to batter Paul Jewell's side.

Southampton, another side promoted from npower League 1 last season, currently lead the way after starting the season with four wins out of four. They too contributed two players to the representative team after their 1-0 win over Millwall, goalkeeper Kelvin Davies and defender Jose Fonte starred at the back for the Saints as they kept a clean sheet.

Coventry City also claimed a clean sheet to earn their first point of the season when they drew 0-0 with Watford. Defender Cyrus Christie was the Sky Blues' star man on the day in only his fourth professional appearances and he was rewarded for his contribution by his call up to the Team of the Week.

At the other end of the pitch, partnering Tomlin up front is Kevin Phillips who scored twice, including a 90th minute equaliser, as Blackpool drew 2-2 at Brighton & Hove Albion. The former Sunderland striker took his tally to four goals in four games for the Tangerines.
