Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.
Blackpool's 1-0 home win over Millwall lifted Ian Holloway's side into fifth place in the table and was a fine team effort: defender Alex Baptiste, midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and striker Lomana Tresor Lua Lua all earn a place in the Team of the Week.
Lua Lua is joined up front by Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp who deserves far greater recognition after such a traumatic week. Sharp's two-day-old son, Luey Jacob, tragically died last week but the Rovers striker played through the heartache and scored in the following two games. His goal in the 3-2 win at Ipswich Town on Saturday was applauded by both sets of fans.
Portsmouth have two players in the Team of the Week. Goalkeeper Stephen Henderson kept a clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest while midfielder Erik Huseklepp tormented Steve Cotterrill on his return to his former club. Huseklepp showed no sentiment towards the man who brought him to Pompey with two goals and an assist
West Ham United kept pace with leaders Southampton with a 2-0 win away at Hull City. Defender James Tonkins starred, and earns a place alongside Gordon Greer of Brighton. Greer scored the opener in a 2-0 win over Barnsley and then cleared Ricardo Vaz Te's effort off the line to preserve the Seagulls' clean sheet.
Andrew Taylor of Cardiff City was another defensive star as he helped his side beat Crystal Palace 2-0 and continue their fine recent form. The Bluebirds are just one place behind Middlesbrough in third whose Barry Robson teed up the winner in the 1-0 home win over Watford.
The final place in this week's Team of the Week belongs to Grant McCann of Peterborough United. McCann struck a winner in the third minute of injury time as the Posh emerged as 3-2 winners in a thrilling game at home to Derby County.
