This week the Football League returns to our screens after a seemingly long absence due to the International break.

With all the teams now confirmed for Euro 2012 it's time to turn attention to domestic football with two npower Championship games live on TV over the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon the TV cameras descend on Turf Moor to capture the action as Burnley play host to Leeds United with a 12.45pm kickoff.

It is the 52nd match between the clubs since they first met in 1924. With a total of 159 goals scored in those encounters - just over three a game on average - it's clear that both sides like to have a go when it comes to attacking.

This was certainly the case last season at Turf Moor where Leeds completed a dramatic 3-2 win despite being two goals behind at half time. United completed a double of the Clarets in a much tighter affair with a 1-0 win at Elland Road.

So Burnley boss Eddie Howe will be keen to improve on things this season and probably won't need to search too hard for motivation. His side currently sit seven points of the Playoff places and will need to start picking up the points if they are to realise their dreams of a return to the Premier League.

But Leeds will also be keen to build up some momentum as recent poor form has seen the club slip just outside the Playoffs. With only one win out of four matches manager Simon Grayson will be hoping his side can get the same result as last season.

The second match live on TV this weekend is another npower Championship affair with a 1.15pm kickoff on Sunday between Millwall and Bristol City.

The Lions will go into the game full of confidence as they have only lost once at home this season conceding just five goals in front of their own fans - one of the lowest in the whole league. That statistic is even more impressive when you discover both Brighton and West Ham have visited.

Manager Kenny Jacket will be buoyed even further by the fact that City have failed to beat Millwall at the Den since 1997 something his side will be try to extend further.

But the Robins will be heartened by a true resurgence in form since new boss Derek McInnes took over in October. His side has steadily picked up the points putting in some solid performances resulting in just one defeat in their last four games.

It would appear that the TV crews have picked a great game to televise despite the fixture last season ending in a drab goalless draw. With Millwall scoring eight goals in their last three home and games and City notching five times in three matches it is certainly shaping up to be a real interesting encounter.
