Swindon manager Paolo di Canio and Brighton boss Gus Poyet have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association.

Di Canio was sent to the stands after he raced onto the pitch to celebrate Alan McCormack's late winner in the 2-1 victory at Northampton on New Year's Eve.

The Italian has until 4pm on January 9 to respond to the charge.

Poyet has also been charged over his conduct during the 2-0 defeat at Coventry on the same day. He has until 4pm on January 10 to respond.
