Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.
It's been another exciting weekend in the npower Championship with plenty of contenders for places in the latest Team of the Week.
Lining up in goal is Southampton's Kelvin Davis, who was outstanding on Saturday evening in the Saints' 1-0 win at Leeds United which stretched their lead at the top - albeit temporarily - to four points.
The advantage was closed to just one on Sunday by West Ham United's 2-0 win at Cardiff City with the Hammers' George McCartney also in the Team of the Week for a clean sheet and goal in South Wales.
Joining McCartney in the back four are Crystal Palace's Anthony Gardner, who marshalled his troops superbly in the Eagles' 1-0 win at home to Peterborough United; Tommy Smith, a scorer in Ipswich Town's 3-0 victory over Bristol City; and Lee Peltier, the Leicester City right-back who helped his side to a 2-0 win against Coventry City.
The Team of the Week's midfield features four men who were all on target for their respective clubs across the weekend.
Nottingham Forest's Garath McCleary netted for the third time in his last five games to put his side in front at Barnsley, though the Tykes came back for a 1-1 draw.
Alongside McCleary are West Ham skipper Kevin Nolan for his goal and driving performance in that win at Cardiff; Reading's Hal Robson-Kanu after a fine strike in his side's 2-1 win at Millwall; and Ipswich's Andy Drury who netted with a stunning goal in their win over Bristol City.
At the top end of the Team of the Week are two men whose goals secured important points for their respective sides on Saturday.
Barnsley's equaliser came from an excellent Craig Davies effort, his 11th Championship goal of the campaign, while on target for the 24th time in all competitions and 20th in the Championship was Rickie Lambert with the winner for Southampton at Leeds.
