Bristol City striker Jonathan Stead was the leading points scorer in the last Game Week, but his efforts weren't enough to stop his side slip perilously close to the relegation zone. Stead collected eight points for his goal and assist in the win over Leicester City and a subsequent goal against Cardiff City, in a defeat that saw the Robins drop to 21st.

Hardworking striker Noel Hunt racked up a Game Week total of seven points as Reading continued their march towards the promotion places. The Royals have now recorded an incredible eight consecutive victories following wins over Portsmouth and Leicester. Hunt scored the winner against beleaguered Pompey and was awarded two assists when the Foxes were swept aside 3-1.

Southampton have opened a small gap at the top of the npower Championship and midfield playmaker Adam Lallana registered six points. Lallana got both goals in Saturday's 2-0 win over Barnsley. The Football League Player of the Year Rickie Lambert collected five points for an assist against the Tykes and a goal in the midweek draw with Ipswich Town.

Former Valencia midfielder Vicente scored both Brighton and Hove Albion goals in their win over Portsmouth and was awarded six points. The Spanish international put the Seagulls ahead with a free-kick after entering the encounter as a second half substitute and sealed the win from close range in the dying stages.
