Blackpool left-back Stephen Crainey was the top points scoring player in the penultimate Game Week of the season with a sensational 13 points. The Scotland international kept two clean sheets and was involved in three of the four goals the Tangerines put past Burnley. French forward Nouha Dicko bagged six points and Stephen Dobbie settled for five.

Matt Fryatt plundered four goals from just two games and was rewarded with 12 points. The Hull City striker netted a hat-trick in the win over Barnsley in midweek, and followed that by getting on the scoresheet again, in Saturday's 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest. However, it wasn't enough to secure a Play-Off berth.

Southampton's promotion chances are still in their own hands as we approach the last games of the season, even though they lost to Middlesbrough on Saturday. The Saints host relegated Coventry City on the final day and will go up if they equal West Ham United's result. Red and white hot-shot Billy Sharp finished the Game Week with nine points for three goals.

Cardiff City duo Joe Mason and Mark Hudson both registered six points as the Blues edged closer to the Play-Offs. Young striker Mason opened the scoring in the win over Derby County and in Saturday's draw with Leeds United. Experienced defender Hudson kept a clean sheet against the Rams and scored a wonder goal from inside his own half.
