Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.

Southampton secured their return to the Premier League, after a seven-year absence, with a convincing 4-0 win over already-relegated Coventry City.

Adam Lallana and Jose Fonte found the net in the vital win and, therefore, both take their place in the Championship Team of the Week.

Alongside Lallana in the middle of the park is Cardiff City's Peter Whittingham as well as Ipswich Town due Lee Martin and Ryan Stevenson.

Whittingham was influential for the Bluebirds as they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to secure a Championship Play-Off place for the third consecutive season. The 27-year-old scored a stunning free-kick from a narrow angle to level after Wilfried Zaha had opened the scoring.

The Tractor Boys were 3-2 winners over already-relegated Doncaster Rovers and Ryan Stevenson was amongst the goals as he fired home from 30 yards after the Town had initially took the lead from a Lee Martin corner.

Up top, Nottingham Forest's Dexter Blackstock partners West Ham United's Carlton Cole. Blackstock grabbed a brace as Forest seen off Portsmouth 2-0 whilst Cole also bagged two goals as the Hammers ran out 2-1 winners over Hull City.

Forest defender Chris Gunter also makes the XI for his performance in their victory. Blackpool's Ian Evatt and Leicester City's Paul Konchesky make up the defence. Evatt celebrated his third goal of the season with a tidy header in the Tangerines' 2-2 draw with Millwall, whilst Konchesky played a pivotal role as the Foxes beat Leeds United 2-1.

Completing the team is Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle, who saved an Ian Harte penalty in the Blues' 2-0 win over champions Reading.
