Crystal Palace have handed professional contracts to three of their latest batch of academy graduates.

Goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons and defender Aaron Akuruka have put pen to paper on one-year deals while another defender, Kadell Daniel, has agreed a contract until the end of September.

The trio will be hoping to follow the likes of Victor Moses, Wilfried Zaha and Sean Scannell by breaking into the first team at Selhurst Park.

Youth boss Gary Issott told the club's official website: "It is a tremendous reward for the three lads who are getting pro contracts.

"But they are all aware the hard work has only just begun and now they must show the right attitude to move onto the next level."
