Leeds United shared a thrilling 3-3 npower Championship draw with Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road.

Leeds parted to allow Markus Olsson and Nuno Gomes to put Blackburn 2-0 after 27 minutes gone, but then rallied with goals from El Hadji Diouf, Ross McCormack and Luciano Becchio. Ruben Rochina came to Blackburn's rescue, however, preserving their unbeaten start with a cute backheel that earned his side a point with six minutes left.

Nottingham Forest also maintained their unbeaten start after clinching a 2-1 triumph over Charlton Athletic.

Lewis McGugan scored for the second league game running to give Forest a 17th-minute lead and on-loan Chelsea defender Sam Hutchinson netted his first senior goal after 75 minutes. An own goal by Reds goalkeeper Lee Camp two minutes from time set up a nervy finale for the hosts but they saw out the remaining time to seal a deserved win.

Hull City's new boys proved the difference as Steve Bruce's side put their recent woes in front of goal behind them to dispatch Bolton Wanderers 3-1 at the KC Stadium. Sone Aluko, Abdoulaye Faye and Stephen Quinn effectively ended the contest shortly after half time, though only after Chris Eagles had given the visitors the lead.

Birmingham City recorded their first Championship victory of the season after edging Peterborough United 1-0. The first-half winner came courtesy of a bizarre own goal from Robert Olejnik, with the Posh goalkeeper seeing his attempted punched clearance from Wade Elliott's free-kick go horribly wrong.

Andy Keogh scored twice as Millwall registered a first home Championship win of the season, beating Middlesbrough 3-1, while Craig Mackail-Smith showed exactly why Premier League clubs were chasing him in the transfer window with a stunning double to fire Brighton & Hove Albion to a 3-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.

Jacob Mellis scored the only goal of the game as a makeshift Barnsley kept free-scoring Bristol City at bay to secure a 1-0 victory, while James Vaughan missed a penalty to go from hero to villain as Huddersfield Town were denied all three points in a 2-2 stalemate at Ipswich Town.

Glenn Murray scored twice as Crystal Palace brought Sheffield Wednesday's remarkable unbeaten streak to an end with a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park. Wednesday, who had equalised through Michail Antonio just after the break, had been looking to stretch their undefeated run to a club-record 20 matches

Conor Sammon scored his first goal for Derby County on his home debut as the Rams took advantage of Watford's defensive frailties to romp to a 5-1 win. Richard Keogh, Jeff Hendrick, Will Hughes and Jamie Ward were the other Derby players on target in the rout.
