Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has hailed youngster Liam Moore's performances this season.

The defender, 19, has made five appearances this season and has earned rave reviews for his performances in the Foxes back line. Pearson believes the experience can only benefit the youngster, who spent last season on loan at npower League Two Bradford.

"He has played very well so far this season," Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester.

"He has maybe had an opportunity that before the season you wouldn't think he would have.

"So good for him and good for us too.

"He has still played less than 10 senior games but he has done exceptionally well.

"It is very early in his career and he is very lucky to be playing alongside a seasoned campaigner in Wes Morgan who will aid his development very much."
