Hull manager Steve Bruce has escaped FA disciplinary action after being sent to the stands in Sunday's defeat at Leicester.

Bruce was sent off for disputing an assistant's decision late on in his side's 3-1 defeat at the King Power Stadium, but was quick to apologise to referee Eddie Ilderton for his conduct.

"There will be no process against Steve Bruce," an FA spokesman told Press Association Sport.

"He will be sent a warning, a reminder of his responsibilities."

Bruce, who said he had behaved "like a lunatic" and described his conduct as "idiotic", had feared being fined or handed a touchline ban.
