Cardiff captain Mark Hudson believes his side are the biggest scalps in the npower Championship for as long as they sit on top of the table.

The Bluebirds are a point clear of Leicester at the summit following their defeat of Birmingham in midweek, meaning the rest of the division's promotion hopefuls will see them as the team to topple. Hudson, who was on target in the 2-1 win over Birmingham, is content with the situation going into Saturday's visit to Ipswich.

"Everyone is going to try to beat us because we are top of the league at the moment," Hudson told Wales Online.

"But they are also going to be fearing us because of the way we are playing which is great.

"We have to keep that going now. The players are going to relish it. You look around in that dressing room and you look at the people there.

"People are fighting for their places to start with and now we are fighting to keep ourselves at the top.

"We'll continue to do that."
