The nominations for the npower Championship Player of the Month award for September have been announced.
They are as follows: -
Wes Morgan (Leicester City)
The rock at the heart of the Leicester defence, he has given the team a platform upon which to attack. Strong in the tackle, commanding in the air, Morgan gave authoritative performances all month and also posed a danger from set pieces.
Glenn Murray (Crystal Palace)
With more support up front this season from wingers Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie, Murray's natural link-up play and finishing had a crucial impact in September with six goals, four of them slotted calmly home from the penalty spot.
Bruno Saltor (Brighton & Hove Albion)
The Spanish veteran ignited the attacking play which took Brighton top of the npower Championship. Solid defensively, he created two goals in the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in a perfect month personally with maximum points from four games played.
The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News, from 10am.
