Midfielder Chris Lines is still "three or four weeks" away from a return to first-team action, according to Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones.

The 26-year-old, who was a crucial member of the Owls promotion-winning side last season, has missed the last three months with a groin injury.

He had stepped up his rehabilitation with run-outs for the reserves and under-21 sides in the past week and was hopeful of making the bench for the visit of fellow strugglers Peterborough on Saturday but Jones has ruled this out.

Wednesday recorded their first win since August when they beat bottom of the league Ipswich last weekend, ending a winless run spanning 10 matches, and the Owls manager is likely to name the same XI with no fresh injury or suspension concerns.
