Leicester City smashed Ipswich Town for six on Saturday and Lloyd Dyer finished the rout with nine points to his name. Dyer played a part in four of the half dozen the Foxes racked up, netting one goal and three assists. David Nugent bagged a brace for six points, while a goal and an assist were worth five for Martyn Waghorn.
Jordan Rhodes was the joint top scoring player in the Game Week, collecting nine points as Blackburn Rovers thrashed Peterborough United 4-1 away. The Scottish poacher registered a hat-trick and took his tally for the season to 11 from 16 npower Championship league games. The heavy defeat leaves the Posh anchored to the bottom of the table.
Crystal Palace target-man Glenn Murray scored eight points from the Eagles' 3-0 win over Derby County. Murray opened the scoring for the league leaders after just 17 minutes, set up Brazilian midfielder Andre Moritz to double the advantage, and rounded off the scoring with eight minutes left on the clock.
Sone Aluko also recorded eight points after inspiring Hull City to victory over his former club Birmingham City. The 23-year-old, who signed from Rangers in the summer, was released by the Blues without playing a league game, but came back to haunt his old employers by notching two goals and an assist in a 3-2 win.
