Neil Warnock has written to the Football Association denying a charge of improper conduct following his side's defeat at Millwall last weekend.
The FA charged Warnock on Tuesday for his post-match comments about referee Mark Halsey, who showed Leeds striker Luke Varney a straight red card early in the second half for an apparent elbow on Adam Smith.
"I'm disappointed," Warnock said.
"There were a lot of things I was disappointed with on Sunday, but the right thing for me to do, which I did (on Wednesday) is to reply to it in writing and put forward one or two things which happened.
"It's a strange one really without going into detail.
"It's one of those where I've ticked two boxes - denying the charge and accepting it!
"I accept what I said, but I deny the charge, if that makes sense. You'll have to read about it in my book, it'll be an interesting one at the end of the season."
