Watford duo Troy Deeney and Mark Yeates were the top points scoring players of the Game Week, after the Hornets plundered eight goals in two matches. Yeates scored two goals and three assists worth 12 points, in the wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough United, while Deeney went one better, scoring 13 thanks to three goals and two assists.
Blackpool's Tom Ince continued his good form and ended the game week with 11 points. Ince struck once in the midweek draw with Birmingham City and collected a brace and an assist as the Seasiders downed Peterborough.
Middlesbrough striker Scott McDonald scored twice in the win over Huddersfield Town in midweek and was on target again at Birmingham on Friday night for nine points. The goal wasn't enough to get Boro a result though because of a Marlon King double, valued at six points.
Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio also scored nine points for the Game Week, as he hit the only goal of the match to beat Leicester City in midweek, before bagging a brace in the win against Huddersfield.
Strikers Glenn Murray and Dj Campbell were also high scorers with eight and seven points respectively. Murray registered two goals and an assist in Crystal Palace's 3-0 victory over rivals Brighton and Hove Albion, while Campbell assisted two in Ipswich Town's win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, before scoring himself in a 2-1 win at Bolton Wanderers.
