Derby have received no bids for any of their players, according to manager Nigel Clough.
With the transfer window set to open on New Year's Day, speculation has been mounting surrounding the futures of midfielder Will Hughes and defender John Brayford.
Asked if he expects a busy January, Clough told the Derby Telegraph: "That will depend on what happens with outgoings. If anybody contacts us about our players, then we take a view from there. But we haven't had a bid for any player."
He added: "If somebody bids, then we have a decision to make but the speculation is just speculation.
"We don't really want to lose anybody but you know how it is in football, sometimes it happens."
Fulham boss Martin Jol recently admitted his interest in Hughes, going on to say that as many as 10 Barclays Premier League clubs are monitoring the highly-rated teenager.
Meanwhile, Brayford is a reported target of West Ham and the Rams' npower Championship rivals Cardiff.
