Brighton have completed the signing of Argentine striker Leonardo Ulloa.

The 26-year-old arrives on the south coast for an undisclosed fee from Spanish La Liga side Almeria and has signed a four-year contract.

He said: "I define myself as a fighter and I am going to be fighting for the squad. I am really looking forward to playing as soon as possible and begin helping the team.

"I am a player who is very comfortable in and around the box and I am good at dealing with crosses and hopefully I will add goals to the side.

"This is a club that is growing up with lots of new projects, which I like, and is a club that is sooner or later going to be in the Premier League.

"I am very glad to be here and everything to be completed. I am looking forward to starting new challenges in this new part of my career."
