Leeds winger Ramon Nunez has left the club after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old Honduras international signed for Leeds in the summer of 2010 after opting to leave CD Olimpia and made a total of 25 appearances for the West Yorkshire club, scoring five goals.

Nunez, placed on the transfer list by Neil Warnock in the summer, sustained a cruciate knee ligament injury while playing for Leeds' development squad in September and has not appeared for the club this season.

He made his debut for Leeds in a 4-0 home defeat to Cardiff in October 2010 and played his final game against the Welsh club at the end of last season.

Nunez also spent two months on loan at Scunthorpe at the end of the 2010/11 season, making eight starts and scoring three goals for the Iron.
