Millwall winger James Henry could make a surprise return before the end of the season.
The Lions thought Henry's campaign was over due to the knee injury he suffered against Leeds a fortnight ago.
But a visit to a specialist on Monday has raised hopes he could play a part this term.
Henry certainly has an incentive to get fit with a potential FA Cup final appearance on the cards after Millwall reached the last four by beating Blackburn on Wednesday.
Physio Bobby Bacic told the club website: "James was reviewed by the surgeon on Monday who was extremely pleased with his progress so far.
"James will remain in the brace for a further two weeks and if he continues with his good progress, we will then revise his return to training date which would give James a very good chance of returning before the season finishes and having an active role in some of the remaining matches.
"However, it is too early to predict an exact date because if the knee suffers a reaction, the date would have to be revised yet again."
