The nominations for the npower Championship Manager of the Month award for February have been announced.

They are as follows:-

David Flitcroft (Barnsley)
While still in a relegation battle, three wins out of four npower Championship fixtures proved that Barnsley are still very much in the fight for survival. Two stunning away wins against Blackpool and Middlesbrough were followed by an important victory against fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers. Only a dramatic 5-3 reverse away at Bristol City denied Flitcroft's men a perfect month, but this good run of form will have Tykes fans confident of beating the drop.

Dougie Freedman (Bolton Wanderers)
Dougie Freedman's outfit had a busy February, completing a total of six fixtures with three wins, two draws and a solitary loss. The Reebok Stadium was somewhat of a fortress in February and Freedman will need more of the same if the Trotters are to make a late charge for the Play-Off positions.

Gianfranco Zola (Watford)
Four wins and a draw from five fixtures saw Zola's Watford finish February in second place, just five points behind leaders Cardiff City. With such good form coming at such a crucial time of the season, Hornets fans will be forgiven for believing that the Premier League beckons.

The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News, from 9am.
