Blackpool midfielder Isaiah Osbourne has lost an appeal against his red card during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in the npower Championship.

Osbourne was dismissed for a challenge on Forest's Greg Halford shortly before the hour, with the Seasiders a goal to the good at the time thanks to Ludo Sylvestre's first-half strike.

The 25-year-old will miss home fixtures against Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday, along with a trip to promotion-chasing Brighton.

Since joining the Seasiders in the summer, Osbourne has made 29 appearances in all competitions and will hope to add to these against Derby at Bloomfield Road before the season finale at Bolton.
