Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara has lost his appeal against a three-match ban.

The npower Championship strugglers launched an appeal against the length of O'Hara's punishment for the red card he received during Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Huddersfield.

After he was fouled by Keith Southern, O'Hara reacted by pushing over the Terriers midfielder and was consequently sent off.

While they accepted the red card, Wolves felt that the three-game penalty was harsh and lodged an appeal with the Football Association.

However, having considered the incident, the FA have decided that the original punishment should stand.

The 26-year-old will now miss Hull's visit to Molineux on Tuesday night and matches against Charlton and Burnley.
