New Millwall boss Steve Lomas has confirmed his interest in signing Simeon Jackson.

Lomas has made bringing in a goalscorer his top priority since arriving at The Den - Millwall found the net just five times at home in the league after New Year's Day last season.

But he admits the Lions are likely to face competition for 26-year-old striker Jackson, who is a free agent after being released by Norwich.

"I am sure there are 10 or 11 managers who would love him," said Lomas.

"He is a good player. He has come up the hard way and I like that in players because they are hungry."
