Nottingham Forest striker Marcus Tudgay has signed a one-year contract extension.

Tudgay made just four appearances for Forest last season after breaking his collarbone while on loan at Barnsley in December.

The 30-year-old featured in two games for Forest at the end of the campaign under manager Billy Davies, who signed him from Sheffield Wednesday in January 2011.

Tudgay began his career at Derby and made over 200 appearances during a five-year stint at Hillsborough after signing for Wednesday for an undisclosed fee in 2006.
