Morten Gamst Pedersen's nine-year association with Blackburn has come to an end after he signed for Turkish club Kardemir Karabukspor.

The Norwegian has brought the curtain down on his time with Rovers, for whom he featured nearly 300 times in the league and became a fans' favourite due to his penchant for spectacular goals.

However, with Blackburn now adapting to life in the second tier, Pedersen was told he could leave Ewood Park before his contract ran out next summer.

The 31-year-old has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with Karabukspor with Blackburn confirming the move went through as a free transfer.
