Blackpool manager Paul Ince has been named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for August.
After an exceptional month, with injuries affecting an already small squad, Ince was forced into fielding players out of their natural positions. Nevertheless, he inspired his team to 13 points out of 15.
Former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel and he said: "It's been a fantastic start for Blackpool in Paul Ince's first full season in charge at Bloomfield Road.
"The Seasiders have been very solid in defence and are the early pace setters in the Sky Bet Championship, in what promises to be another very exciting campaign."
Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins said: "Paul Ince has seemingly worked a miracle during August.
"Not only by keeping hold of son Tom to help boost the club's chances, but gaining results when the pre-season talk had been generally negative about the Tangerines' chances."
