Brighton plan to bring in a striker on loan ahead of Sunday's trip to Reading.

Boss Oscar Garcia is short up front with Ashley Barnes, Craig Mackail-Smith and Will Hoskins currently injured and the Spaniard has been linked with a move for Tottenham's Jonathan Obika.

Leonardo Ulloa, the Seagulls' only fit senior forward, has scored four goals this season but Garcia wants to lift some of the burden from the Argentinian.

Head of football operations David Burke told the club website: "We have always got players lined up and we have got three forwards injured so I would expect to see something happen as quickly as possible."
