Doncaster have been dealt an injury blow with the news that James Husband requires shoulder surgery and will be out for around three months.

Husband hurt his shoulder during the home defeat to Burnley last week and missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The defender is expected to undergo an operation in the coming days, with the recovery time likely to be 12 weeks or so.

Press Association Sport understands that Rovers boss Paul Dickov will sign a left-back on loan to cover for Husband's absence.
