Bolton loanee Liam Feeney has been recalled by his parent club Millwall following a successful spell with the Trotters.

The 26-year-old winger moved to the Reebok on a three-month loan deal but the Lions have activated a clause in his contract that allows them to bring him back early.

Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman told the club's official website: "We're obviously disappointed to see Liam leave early.

"It's kind of backfired on us after how well he has played.

"Originally it was supposed to be a three-month deal, but Millwall had the option to call him back.

"We've seen his quality and we wish him well for the future."
