Injured Yeovil Town defender Zoumana Bakayogo has returned to parent club Leicester City to get treatment.

The Ivorian ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament just 34 minutes into his Yeovil debut at Birmingham on Saturday.

The Glovers confirmed on Tuesday morning that the former Tranmere left-back, who had only arrived at the club on Friday, has headed back to the King Power Stadium.

Bakayogo had been brought in by Glovers manager Gary Johnson as cover for Liam Davis, sidelined for up to six weeks due to a broken toe.
