Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Nice defender Kevin Gomis on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
Reds owner Fawaz Al Hasawi revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that Gomis had undergone a medical and that the two clubs had agreed a deal for the 25-year-old.
Forest confirmed the arrangement on Thursday ahead of their Sky Bet Championship game with Watford at the City Ground later that day.
Gomis becomes Forest's third signing in the space of 24 hours following the arrivals of striker Rafik Djebbour and left-back Dan Fox.
He has made 37 appearances for Ligue 1 side Nice, the last of which came in a 3-1 defeat at Montpellier last weekend.
