Watford have signed defensive midfielder Daniel Tozser on loan from Serie A side Genoa until the end of the season.

The Hungary international boasts a wealth of experience having played all across Europe and the Hornets' Italian head coach Beppe Sannino sees him as a worthy addition to the club's ranks over the second half of the season.

Tozser joined Genoa in 2012 from Belgian side Genk, where he spent close to four years and enjoyed Champions League football alongside current Watford wing-back Daniel Pudil.

The 28-year-old, a free-kick specialist, had previously turned out for Ferencvaros and AEK Athens having also enjoyed a spell with Galatasaray early in his career.
